You should not have to wake up in a film of sweat with stale air trapped within a thick stuffy quilt. Quilts should breathe just as we do. Our solution is simple and tried and tested over generations: cotton, cotton, cotton!

All our quilts are constructed from fine breathable cotton voile and filled with pure organic cotton. As a result, the quilts are lightweight and porous, allowing moisture to evaporate. An ADITYA AHUJA quilt is soft, comfortable and impeccably hand crafted. 

For ADITYA AHUJA quilts, we recommend professional dry cleaning only. Dry cleaning helps preserve colours and fibres to best enhance the lifespan of your quilt. 

However, we understand that this might not always be feasible. If you choose to wash your quilt at home please try to follow the steps below, and do note that we are not liable for any mishaps!

Should you decide to wash your quilt, we suggest washing in cold water, preferably by hand or on the gentlest cycle setting in a machine with a gentle, pH-neutral soap or laundry detergent. Please note that some natural dyes, especially indigo, will bleed during the first few washings, so we recommend washing the quilt separately or with like colours. Air dry flat if possible – if not, hang to dry.

With proper care our quilts should give you years of pleasure!
