Our baby collection draws from a magical world of fantastical flowers and animals to fashion impeccably handcrafted quilts, blankets, cot sheets, bolsters, pillows and swaddles alive with swooping birds, quixotic monkeys and quirky cats.
Our fitted sheets are made to fit cot mattresses 28 x 52" (70 x 130cm) up to 6" deep, they include elastic around the entire edge for a secure fit.
All our Baby Products are crafted from a high thread count pure cotton voile (mulmul) and block printed by hand. The fabrics are soft, durable, breathable and have a natural ‘give’.
The tradition of crafting baby swaddles from fine mulmul is centuries old – cotton voile (mulmul) fabrics are soft, durable, breathable and have a natural ‘give’. Our classic baby swaddles feature a single layer of 100% cotton mulmul in a 44-inch square, specifically designed to provide babies with the comfort they deserve. Our mulmul is prewashed to give you an incredibly soft baby blanket that stays that way, wash after wash.
Cotton mulmul is a soft, breathable fabric that is incredibly easy to care for and stays soft wash after wash. Here are a few tips to care for your ADITYA AHUJA mulmul swaddle.
For ADITYA AHUJA swaddles we strongly recommend hand washing.
Fill a basin with warm water and add a pH-neutral soap or laundry detergent. Mix the water and detergent, using your hands to gently agitate your item. Soak for one hour. Do not worry if colour appears in your water, this is normal. Run cool water through the item until the rinse water is no longer soapy. Squeeze or push out the water. Hang to dry or lay flat.
However, we understand that this is not always feasible. If you need to machine-wash your swaddle please try to follow these steps and do note that we are not liable for any mishaps!
Set machine to a normal cycle. Select cold for colours and warm for whites. Before placing items of like colours in the machine, remove anything that has Velcro, zippers or snaps to prevent the fastenings from snagging. Once the cycle is finished, remove items promptly from the washing machine. Hang to dry or lay flat if possible. If not, tumble dry on low.
